MTF is committed to providing excellence in education through professional development programs. Continuing education opportunities exist for surgeons, nurses and various healthcare professionals.
Symposiums: The purpose of these programs is to review current authoritative and evaluative education material that enhances knowledge and facilitates the provision of improved patient care. The courses can provide a synopsis of the most recent advancements to those involved in the transplantation of numerous biologics available today.
Nursing Education: An array of continuing education programs for nursing is offered. Topics include, “An Overview of Tissue Banking”, “Bridging the Gap between Biologics and Compliance”, “Stewardship of the Gift” and many more. Programs are either accredited through the Association of periOperative Registered Nurses (AORN), or the California Board of Registered Nursing and The Association of Surgical Technicians.
Speaker Program: Opportunities are available for an institution, organization or society to hear presentations on Bone Healing, Clinical Applications of Allograft Tissue or Acellular Dermal Matrix, Understanding Biologics, Safety and Efficacy of Tissue Transplantation or other allograft related topics.
